Having spent years performing in bands, recording in studios and playing gigs, he understands first-hand the highs, lows and hard work that go into building a band and getting music in front of an audience. As the founder of Music Scene Magazine, Bryan's mission is simple: shine a spotlight on grassroots music, support local artists, celebrate great venues and help connect music fans with the incredible talent performing across the UK. His musical tastes are eclectic, ranging from blues, rock and folk through to funk, soul, jazz and classic singer-songwriters. He firmly believes that live music is one of life's greatest experiences and that every band deserves an audience. When he's not attending gigs, interviewing artists or writing reviews, you'll usually find him with a harmonica in his pocket, digging through old albums, discovering new bands or debating why the 1980s produced some of the greatest music ever recorded.
